How and Where to Vote

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3. Make sure you are registered to vote!

Not registered? Find out how to register today!

There are three ways to vote:

Absentee Ballot

You may request an absentee ballot application now. You have options:

1. By mail: Print out this form https://www.elections.ny.gov/NYSBOE/download/voting/AbsenteeBallot-English.pdf

You may use "Temporary Illness" as the reason for voting absentee. Mail your application to your county board of elections.

2. By email: A law was passed in June to allow all voters to request an absentee ballot electronically. Not all county boards of elections are offering this method to voters. Visit your county board of elections website to see if there is a non-mail option. Contact information for all of the county boards of elections in the 121st Assembly District is below.

Your ballot will arrive about 28 days ahead of election day (think late Sept. or early Oct.). When you receive your ballot, be sure to fill in the circle next to my name. You can return your ballot by mail or you can drop it off at your county board of elections office or at an early voting site or your election day poll site. The deadline to return your ballot by mail or in person is Nov 3.
